The vicar, several priests, Deacon’s, members and sister church members received Thirumeni at our church on Sunday morning December 9^th 2007.  Arrangements were made for Thirumeni to stay at Yonkers for three days as our church guest. During the Holy Qurbano His Eminence ordained Mr. Rahul Mathew Malathusseril with the Samrono Pattom. We congratulate Rahul for being the first Samrono from our church. There was a public meeting after the Holy Qurbana to congratulate H. E. Mor Severios Kuriakose for becoming the first Arch Bishop and the chief Metropolitan of our Diocese. Also our Patriarch H.H. elevated Knanaya Diocese as an Arch diocese.  During the meeting our Viacr Fr. Jacob Chacko welcomed our Archbishop and all others. Facilitation speeches were given by N.A. K. C Administrator Rev. Fr. C. A. Thomas, Mr. Joy Lukose and Mr. Thomas Mulakkan representing Knanya Catholic community, Mr. Justin Jacob representing the Youth and Sunday school, Mr. Jacob Thomas Puthiyamadathil representing of N. A. K. A. Meeting was concluded after secretary’s vote of thanks. Arch Bishop presented the Prince Memorial Trophy and cash prize with certificate to those who won the national essay competition sponsored by N.A.K.A.  Mr. Justin Jacob from our church won the first prize and Miss Ashitha Thomas won the third prize. Congratulations to Justin, Ashitha and also those who participated from our church.
